Village Information Centres

Five proprietors of local village service outlets throughout Brecon Beacons National Park have been selected by the Park Authority to act as Village Information Agencies. Several of these are within Fforest fawr Geopark.

 

Such information is available at the main offices of the National Park, the National Park Visitor Centre (Mountain Centre), Cwm Porth (Ystradfellte) and the Waterfalls Centre at Pontneddfechan of course.

 

Collectively, these outlets support and increase general information provision across the National Park. Individually, they provide a valuable source of local knowledge about attractions and places of interest to visit in the surrounding area. Each agency has a large bilingual panel displaying pictures and information relevant to their location.
